Monday, January 27, 2025 Karnataka Tourism showcased its diverse cultural and natural heritage at Bharat Parv 2025, held at the historic Red Fort in New Delhi. The event, launched on January 26, 2025, coincided with Republic Day and highlighted India’s rich cultural tapestry. The state’s participation included three themed stalls: a State Theme Stall, a Traditional Cuisine Stall, and a Traditional Art & Handicraft Stall, embodying the motto “One State, Many Worlds.

” These stalls offered insights into Karnataka’s rich cultural heritage, diverse landscapes, wildlife, and renowned culinary delights. The State Theme Stall featured Karnataka’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites like the enchanting ruins of Hampi, the exquisitely detailed temples of Pattadakal, and the revered Hoysala temples at Belur, Halebidu, and Somanathapura. The Western Ghats, celebrated for their rich biodiversity, were also prominently showcased.



Additionally, the stall displayed other historical and architectural gems including the Mysore Palace, Gol Gumbaz, and the ancient Badami cave temples. Traditional elements such as Yakshagana performances, the Mysuru Dasara festival, and Channapatna toys were highlighted as well. Visitors gained valuable insights into key tourist spots like Coorg, Kabini, and Gokarna, and learned about the state’s initiatives in eco-tourism, heritage trails, and adventure tourism.
