In March, the gossip mill was strife with rumours that Bollywood’s Bebo, aka, Kareena Kapoor Khan is all set to mark her debut in the south industry. During a fan interaction, the actress let slip that she “might be doing a very big South film” and was quite excited that it would be her “first time doing this.” Soon speculations began that the actress may have been roped in for a role in Yash’s 19th film, Toxic.
As per a recent rumour, it might not be Toxic. The latest actress to have joined the list might be Kareena Kapoor Khan, per her fan interaction.
There have been no confirmation reports from her side regarding signing up Yash’s Toxic. But as per unconfirmed reports, the actress may have lost the opportunity and to make up for it, she is gearing up to star in a big-budget project. After marking her debut with Refugee in 2000, Kareena Kapoor Khan is one of the top and bankable actresses in India.

Hansal Mehta’s The Buckingham Murders marks her first production venture which was first premiered at the the 2023 BFI London Film Festival. Right before turning 44 on September 21, The Buckingham Murders was released theatrically on September 13. It is also produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor.
