Their daughter is named Joan Almond Jenner, with Joan a nod to Cayley's grandmother Joanie. Brandon posted the announcement on his Instagram account, with an adorable photo of their newborn along with the words: "She's here.
Joan Almond Jenner. Named after Cayley's beloved grandma (Joanie). Born at home in a flash, just the most amazing experience for mama and baby girl.
A beautiful, gentle birth. 9 lbs 2 oz, 21 1/2 inches long. Perfect little peanut, we couldn't be more in love.
And the kids are absolutely thrilled to have a baby sister. Welcome to our world, sweet baby love." The couple have so far not explained Joan's unusual middle name, Almond.
Brandon, who is half-brother to Kylie Jenner , and Cayley announced they were expecting a baby back in February. Cayley shared a video in which she was wearing a bikini, but with her body turned away from the camera, and then she turned around to reveal her pregnancy bump. At the time, Brandon wrote: "'Well, it's official!! Look at what I've done to her again! @cayleyjenner.
" Cayley and Brandon began dating in March 2019, and revealed her pregnancy six months later. They married in January 2020 when Cayley was heavily pregnant with their twins. With this latest pregnancy, the couple also shared the news with People Magazine , with Cayley revealing that she took two pregnancy tests before telling Brandon the news.
“When I went to tell Brandon that night as we were getting ready for bed he totally beat me to the punch,” Cayley said. “I had the tests in my pocket and I was going to just lay them down as he was brushing his teeth, but before I could do it, he looked at me and said, ‘So how pregnant do you think you are?’ I was floored.” She wondered if he had seen the packaging from the pregnancy tests in the bin, but it turned out he had just guessed that they may have conceived during Thanksgiving.
