Kangana Ranaut is set to sell her Mumbai bungalow, which faced demolition issues, for a staggering amount. Here’s all you need to know about! New Delhi: Kangana Ranaut is once again making headlines, but this time it’s not for her films or political views. Rumour has it that the Bollywood actress is planning to sell her luxurious bungalow in Mumbai’s upscale Pali Hill area.

The property, which also houses her production office, Manikarnika Films, is reportedly on the market for a whopping Rs 40 crore. Is Kangana Ranaut selling her Mumbai bungalow? The speculation began when a YouTube channel named Code Estate shared a video claiming that a production house office in Bandra was up for sale. Although the video didn’t explicitly name Kangana or her production house, the visuals strongly hinted at her property.

Social media quickly picked up on the clues, with many users speculating that the actress is indeed selling her Bandra home. The video’s description provided detailed information about the property. The bungalow sits on a 285-square-meter plot with a construction area of 3,042 square feet.

It includes a parking space of 500 square feet and spans two floors. Despite the buzz, Kangana has not yet commented on the potential sale of her home. Why was Kangana Ranaut’s Mumbai bungalow demolished? For those who may not remember, this is the same property that found itself at the centre of a legal battle with the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) in 2020.

In September of that year, the BMC partially demolished Kangana’s office, citing illegal construction. The demolition was halted mid-way after the Bombay High Court intervened with a stay order. Kangana later filed a case against the BMC, seeking Rs 2 crore in compensation, but she eventually dropped her claims in May 2023.

The potential sale of this property comes as Kangana spends more time in New Delhi and Himachal Pradesh, where she is increasingly involved in political activities. With her career expanding beyond Bollywood, it appears she may be looking to downsize her Mumbai presence. Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency On the professional front, the actor is currently busy with her upcoming film Emergency , in which she plays the lead role and serves as the director.
