Actor turned politician Kangana Ranaut revealed the reason behind why she didn’t attend the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant even though she was invited by the billionaire groom himself. Recently, during an appearance on Siddharth Kannan’s YouTube talk show, Ranaut said that her brother was getting married on the same day. In the same interview, she also praised Anant Amabni.

’ That day was a very auspicious day, and my younger brother was getting married. Khair, aise bhi main avoid hi karti hoon zyada filmy shaadiyon mein jaana, but I wish them the best.” Meanwhile, the grand wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant was held on 12 July in Mumbai.

The lavish wedding was attended by numerous celebrities and high-profile guests from around the world. Like Kim and Khloe Kardashian, John Cena, Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas, Rajinikanth, Mahesh Babu, Yash, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, Vicky Kaushal, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, and Deepika Padukone, among many others. The Ambani family also hosted a reception for the media and their employees on 15 July. The blessing ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Anant Ambani is the youngest son of businessman Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant is the daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant.

The movie is also helmed by Ranaut. Based on the period when the emergency was imposed back in 1975, it stars Ranaut as former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
