I’m waiting for more [parliamentary] sessions detail, like winter session, so I can adjust my dates.” She further said, "I’m very open, and whatever needs me more and engages me more as a person, eventually I’ll take that route. But right now, it’s just way too much happening in my life.

” A post shared by Kangana Ranaut (@kanganaranaut) Despite the political pressure, Kangana isn’t ready to put her acting chops on ice just yet. Her next big project? The self-directed Emergency, where she takes on the role of the formidable former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The film, which dramatizes the turbulent 21-month period of national Emergency in India, is set to hit theaters on September 6, 2024.
