Kangana Ranaut recently took to her Instagram story to share a post from a fan page, recalling a memorable moment when the actress Rekha praised her. Rekha had once expressed that if she had a daughter, she would have been just like Kangana. At the 2019 Marathi Taraka event, Rekha referred to Kangana as her daughter.
At the occasion, Kangana was seen wearing a black and gold sari gifted to her by the veteran actress. Rekha expressed her deep admiration and affection for Ranaut and remarked that if she had a daughter, she would have been just like Kangana. Responding to this past compliment, Kangana captioned the post with, "greatest compliment ever.
" Kangana has also previously expressed her respect for Rekha. Last October, on Rekha’s birthday, Ranaut shared a photo of her with the actress on her Instagram story and penned a heart note, “Happy birthday to my godmother dear Rekha Ji..
. the epitome of grace, elegance and beauty.” On the work front, Kangana is all set for the much-awaited film ' Emergency ' which was initially slated to release on September 13 but faced a delay due to certification issues with the censor board.
