In an Instagram story on Saturday, Emhoff said that the rumours were not true. Ella Emhoff, who is the daughter of Kamala Harris' husband, Doug Emhoff, was seen crying as Harris delivered her concession speech at Howard University in Washington, DC.
After the video went viral, several people claimed that Ella Emhoff had a mental breakdown and was admitted to a hospital. Emhoff responded to the claims in an Instagram story, saying: "There's a rumor about me having a mental breakdown and getting checked into a hospital," Emhoff wrote. "Not true.
