Rainy days demand comfort. Perhaps you feel inclined to rewatch a favourite film, read a well-worn book, or maybe curl up under your softest blanket. Kaia Gerber is taking comfort on rainy days in New York with her favourite pair of trainers.
The model and actor ushered in fall with an outfit befitting cooler weather. She strolled through the city in a cropped, loose-fitting navy V-neck sweater, which she styled with a pair of wide-legged indigo jeans that sat low on her hip. Accessorising with oversized sunglasses and headphones gave Gerber, who shielded herself from the rain with a large black umbrella, a touch of mystery.
Gerber wore a pair of black Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 trainers with white detailing. Recently, we’ve seen her take her Bode X Nike Astro Grabbers for a spin, but this weekend she called on her tried-and-true sneaks for the job. Gerber is an ardent fan of the tennis shoes, so much so that she owns them in three colourways: black and white; red, white and blue; and the yellow and black pair made famous by Uma Thurman in Kill Bill.
