Justin Bieber has shared a video rapping about getting “high” after his team vehemently denied recent rumours suggesting the singer is using drugs following public concerns about his behaviour . The Baby hitmaker, 30, took to Instagram on Tuesday to upload the clip which sees him spitting some bars while shirtless and munching on a bag of snacks. “I fly like a fly guy, I fly high like a bagpipe, I go high like a bad guy,” he can be heard rapping alongside a friend who is smoking a cigarette.
While some fans described it as “weird but cute”, others were just happy to have just some semblance of music given his last album came out in 2021. The Standard has contacted a representative for Justin Bieber for comment. In recent weeks, Bieber has sparked concern due to a number of erratic public appearances with photos showing him looking noticeably tired and with dark circles under his eyes.
Constant online chatter led to reps for both him and his wife Hailey Bieber addressing the situation, calling the ongoing scrutiny of the singer’s mental and physical health “exhausting and pitiful.” The statement further criticised the public’s obsession with negative narratives, saying it “shows that despite the obvious truth, people are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive.” They further explained that the past year has been “transformative” for the two-time Grammy Award winner, especially after he and Hailey welcomed their first child.
