She was thrown a 95th birthday bash on Saturday at a private home in Los Angeles , and actors including Percy Jackson star Logan Lerman, 30 Rock funnyman Jack McBrayer and Big Little Lies actress Kathryn Newton were all on hand to celebrate. The party also served double duty, as it was part of June's Oscar campaign for her critically acclaimed film Thelma, which marks her first time in a lead role . The dramedy, which was released in June, was a nearly unanimous hit with critics and earned the nonagenarian star some of the best reviews of her three-decade film career.
