Fadekemi Ajakaiye Africa’s most prestigious premier design festival, Design Week Lagos, (DWL), recently returned to the global stage in Lagos when no fewer than 1000 stakeholders featured in the annual event that saw Nigeria’s furniture production pride, Julius Berger-AFP dazzle visitors with its cutting-edge products. The event which was held from October 23rd to October 27th with the theme “The Role of Design in Economic Evolution” also had leading state-of-the-art furniture producer, Julius Berger-AFP showcasing the latest in its fine collection of innovative and scintillating products. The General Manager, Oliver Cohnen did not mince words in describing the essence of AFP’s participation at the event thus: since 1991 when AFP commenced operation in this sector, we have become the largest furniture manufacturer in West Africa.
