Login A major collection of photographs by Wolfgang Sievers will come to auction next week, in the culmination of a seemingly unlikely yet fruitful friendship between the celebrated photographer and Melbourne barrister Julian Burnside KC and his artist wife Kate Durham. Sievers died in 2007 aged 93 , having fled Nazi Germany before World War II because his mother was of Jewish heritage.
