Coming up with subject material for my columns is getting harder. But if I look around my home for a few moments, usually — not always — an idea comes to mind. Strange how that happens sometimes.

The antique classes we have at Wild Bill’s on Tuesdays are going great guns. I am so excited to see so many people coming still, and I’m thrilled to death to have the help I have. It makes me feel good to see them continuing and the size of the crowd.



It’s amazing that we have such a great turn out. Thank you all for coming and bringing things for show and tell — and to possibly get an estimate on the value of your items. It is a crazy world today but I am so thankful for your support.

It is that time of year for us to think about taking extra good care of our special treasures and our antique furniture. Give a little extra care for your wood furniture — I still use Orange Oil by Howard Oil Products and I believe you can still get it at the CR Rustics Antique Shop or Ace Hardware. I love that stuff and I don’t worry about my wooden furniture drying out.

Now, let’s get down to the fun stuff — hunting for antique treasures and collectibles. I have not been on a hunting trip for so long, but for those of you who do go I wish you all good hunting! The other night I was thinking about my years at the Antique Place on U.S.
