The duo were spotted in the Big Apple on Monday with Hannah's new boyfriend Lennon and Gosselin's representative, Adriane Schwartz. Jon donned a tan zip-down worn over an all-black outfit paired with a backwards cap and light blue trainers. His daughter opted for a hot pink sweatshirt with her hair cascading down in billowing waves.
She beamed as she held hands with her new boyfriend. Jon, 47, and Hannah, 20, later did an appearance on The Tamron Hall Show, where they opened up about their combined 75 pound weight loss. 'My mother would put me in that room multiple times, she had zip-tied my hands and feet together and bolt locked the door, turned the lights off and had cameras there just watching me.
'So most of the day I was in that room and I was away from my siblings and I never really went outside. I never played with them. I was kept there.
It was literally containment.' He claimed Kate was 'physically aggressive, verbally, very abusive with the things she would say' and he had to 'constantly take the fall for her emotions.' Medical records submitted during Jon and Kate's custody battle revealed Collin had reported his mother's alleged abuse to his counsellor at the time.
He revealed a letter written in crayon to dad Jon, begging his dad to 'save him' and let him live with him. Collin was home-schooled from fourth grade and diagnosed with mental health issues - medical records seen by the publication state he was diagnosed with unspecified bipolar disorder and related disorders, autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, and PTSD before being taken to a mental health facility in 2016. Collin claims he was wrongly diagnosed and cites his medical records from a mental health evaluation taken last year which shows he has none of the conditions and no issues an adult.
Collins claims multiple medications left him 'feeling like a zombie' and that Kate put him in the facility for 22 months 'in a desperate attempt to protect herself' adding: 'My mom always told me nobody would believe me.' He finally entered Jon's custody in January 2018 - and detailed struggling to 'reintegrate' into society with kids his own age. He graduated high school and intended to join the Marines - but was 'discharged' in August last year - allegedly due to Kate sending him to the behavioral institution.

As many people who have family members grappling with mental health issues can attest, it is rarely and sadly surprising when complete fabrications occur, and this is just another heartbreaking facet of this fight.

' 'All I had was myself, I didn't have anybody else. I had no support system, it was scary, I was confused, I was lost.' He was later moved to another institution located in Pittsburgh where his father, Jon, had the chance to visit him.
Jon also said during the Vice TV series that he began to fight for sole custody of his son after he claimed a doctor told him that Collin did not have a diagnosis. 'I went to court, I spent a million dollars getting my son out, everything I had I spent,' he explained. Collin is not only estranged from his mother, Kate, but some of his other siblings as well.
However, while talking to ET on Tuesday, he said, 'I love my siblings very, very much. I would never hurt them.' 'I would never trash their names in the media.
But what I do believe is that my mother's behind things they say in the media.' He added, 'She's behind their opinion of me. I think if we knew each other today, we'd be very good friends.
' His sister Hannah, who also lives with her father Jon, discussed how Collin was 'separated' from his family in the house on the Vice TV series last year. 'He would be separated from us, like, he would not get to come and play outside with us. He would eat dinner at different times than us,' she said.
'I didn't know who my mom was before TV, but I think she was a different person,' Collin expressed. 'I think she has a good heart and good intentions, but TV and money and fame changes people.' However, while talking to Entertainment Tonight in 2022, he revealed that his mother sending him to the behavioral institute took a big toll on their relationship.
'After being there, I didn't have a relationship with her,' he said. 'Even before [being] there, I don't think we had much of a relationship and I think that just kept tearing it even more down.'
