Lexington, NCJohn Simeon Arsenault born July 4th 1950 passed away August 20th 2024.John was predeceased by his father Edmund and mother Bertha Arsenault along with his twin sister Judith. John’s eldest sibling, his brother, Donald is still alive and well.

John Leaves his wife Eileen, Daughter Jennifer, and sons Paul, Mike, and John Jr. (JJ) to carry on his memory along with 6 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.John and Eileen lived in Leominster Massachusetts before retiring to Lexington North Carolina.



John was a proud Vietnam Veteran serving in the Army for 2 years and reaching a rank of SP4. John also earned a Bronze Star for acts of courage in the heat of battle and continued to support Veterans in need through his local VA’s. John was captain of his high school hockey team and was an avid athlete in men’s league ice hockey and softball well into his 40’s.

He never lost his love for golf and continued to play for many more years. John’s work career consisted mostly of working for Gettens Electric Distribution culminating in John becoming the Vice President of Operations. John was a wonderful father to his four children, never wavering in his love for them.

He had many friends and was always quick with a smile and chuckle uniquely his. Maybe John’s best attribute was being a loving and faithful husband to his best friend and one true love Eileen.John’s life will be celebrated and remembered during the visitation on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, at the Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Road, Fitchburg, Massachusetts, 01420.

His funeral will be held at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon, Massachusetts, 01475 on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at 10:00 am.
