John Abraham who is gearing up for the release of his next film along with Sharvari Wagh recently came into the limelight after a tiff with a journalist at the trailer launch. In the latest interview, he has revealed what went down and added that he felt provoked by the journalist at the time. During the trailer launch, a reporter talked to John about his recent releases and asked why he continued to focus on similar action roles.

Unexpectedly, John lost his cool and called out the report for his bad questions and used the word 'idiots'. He was quoted by reports saying in Hindi, "Aapne yeh film dekhi hai? Okay can I call out bad questions and idiots? Aapne sirf trailer dekha hai, film dekhiye phir baat kijiye." John later said he believed the journalist was intentionally planted to antagonise him.



He also recalled that he isn't a fan of trailer launches and such gatherings. He told Ranveer Allahbadia, "I know that one person was planted there to rile me up, to antagonise me, to make me angry. And I want to say that they won and I lost because I got angry.

I don’t like trailer launches because you time travel 20 years back, the same journalists, the same absurd questions, no one is asking the right questions. Expressing his frustration he added, "Entertainment journalism in India, according to me, is finished." Don't judge Vedaa by its cover - Trust me when I say, it's more than just an action film! John at the trailer launch added that people are welcome to question him after the film has been released. He was quoted by Free Press Journal saying, "You have seen the trailer of the film and not the film, I would say watch the film and then comment.
