Pune: A Jodhpur-bound IndiGo flight received a bomb threat after taking off from Pune on Sunday. More than 100 flyers onboard were hassled after landing in Jodhpur . Pune airport director Santosh Dhoke told TOI that the flight took off from Pune at around 11.

30am. "After it took off, we were informed about the threat. It came to the airline which informed us.



The necessary protocols pertaining to evacuation, checks, etc, were conducted at the Jodhpur airport ," the director told TOI. IndiGo confirmed the incident. "Flight 6E 133, operating from Pune to Jodhpur, received a security-related alert.

The aircraft was taken to the isolation bay and all customers were safely disembarked. At IndiGo, the safety and security of our customers and crew remain paramount in all facets of our operations. We worked closely with the relevant authorities and standard operating procedures were followed.

We sincerely regret any inconvenience this situation may have caused our customers and appreciate their understanding," an IndiGo spokesperson told TOI. Sources said the flight landed at the Jodhpur airport, which, like Pune, is also a civil enclave, at around 1.20pm.

"Soon after landing, all essential protocols were followed. The plane was taken to a remote bay where all passengers were disembarked and checked thoroughly. Their belongings were also checked and then they were taken to the arrival area.
