Jodhpur News: The dismembered body of a 50-year-old woman was discovered in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, on Wednesday, two days after she was reported missing. The victim, identified as Anita Chaudhary, was allegedly murdered by an old family friend. Anita, who owned a beauty parlour in the city, closed her salon around 2:30 PM on October 27 but failed to return home that evening.

Concerned for her safety, her husband, Manmohan Chaudhary, filed a missing person report the following day. The police learned that Anita regarded Mohammad as a brother.



The Jansatta report quoted Dilip Singh Rathore, an officer at the Sardarapura police station as stating that, Anita had taken an auto-rickshaw before her disappearance. The driver confirmed that he dropped her off near Mohammad’s home in Gangana. During the investigation, When police arrived at Mohammad’s residence, he was not present.

His wife claimed she had been staying at her sister's house for the past three days. His wife reportedly revealed to the police that Anita's body was buried behind their house.
