Jodhpur: A chilling discovery has shocked Jodhpur, Rajasthan, where the body of a 50-year-old woman, Anita Chaudhary, was found dismembered and buried behind the house of an old family friend. The horrifying incident came to light on Wednesday, two days after Chaudhary, who owned a beauty parlour in Jodhpur, went missing.

On October 27, Chaudhary closed her salon around 2:30 p.m. but never returned home.

According to the police, her husband, Manmohan Chaudhary, filed a missing person report the following day. The investigation, guided by Chaudhary’s mobile location and call records, led the police to the house of Gul Mohammad, a long-time family friend whom Chaudhary considered a brother. Mohammad, however, is currently missing.

His wife, during interrogation, confessed that Chaudhary’s body was buried behind their house. Police unearthed the gruesome scene, discovering Chaudhary’s body in six pieces. The body parts have been sent to AIIMS hospital for a post-mortem.

Mohammad’s wife has been taken into custody, and the police are actively searching for the prime suspect. Click for more latest Crime news . Also get top headlines and latest news from India and around the world at News9.
