The former member of JLS, 36, is playing the Tin Man in the run of West End performances which began on Thursday.

The singer was announced as part of the cast earlier this month alongside RuPaul ’s Drag Race UK winner The Vivienne as The Wicked Witch of the West. Aston was spotted grinning during his performance on Sunday alongside his cast mates as he took to the stage for the popular musical. In a series of snaps, Aston was spotted smiling and laughing as he took his final bows next to Aviva Tulley who plays Dorothy; Benjamin Yates as The Scarecrow, Emily Bull as Glinda The Good Witch, and Abigail Matthews who plays Toto.

After the performance Aston was spotted on the red carpet with his wife Sarah Richards, 40. The singer cosied up to his wife of two years in a smart ensemble including a white shirt and black trousers and white and black brogues. He accessorised his look with a pair of green sunglasses and a green patterned silk scarf tied around his neck.

His partner wore a black halter neck dress and went for a pop of colour with yellow lace up heels and a white clutch bag with the words 'wifey lifey' written across it. In another snap the West End star posed with a picture of himself on the poster and beamed at the camera while in another series of pictures he joined his cast mates and posed as a group. After the performance Aston was spotted on the red carpet with his wife Sarah Richards, 40.

Aston's West End debut comes just six months after his wife gave birth to their third child , a baby girl. The couple, who revealed they have named their bundle of joy Riley Skye, beamed for a selfie as Sarah cradled their newborn while lying in her hospital bed. In another picture, Aston held their daughter while enjoying shirtless skin-to-skin contact and planted a kiss on her cheek. The proud parents also shared photos of Sarah watching their little girl as she slept in a hospital cot.
