Noted Donald Trump antagonist Jimmy Kimmel kicked off last night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live by packing up to “leave the country,” admitting that he can’t stay for another four years. “You’ve heard him,” Kimmel said. “He said he has a list of enemies.

You think I’m not on that list?” Kimmel quickly got more serious about the results of the presidential election , telling the late-night audience he had been unsure what to say in response. “Let me tell you, that was the worst Taco Tuesday of my whole life,” he said. “We had the choice between a prosecutor and a criminal and we chose the criminal to be president of the United States.

More than half of this country voted for the criminal who’s planning to pardon himself for his crimes. I guess this election wasn’t rigged.” Later, Kimmel acknowledged all of the people who had been impacted by the choice of Trump over Democratic candidate Kamala Harris.

“It was a terrible night for women, for children, for the hundreds of thousands of hard-working immigrants who make this country go,” he said, holding back tears. “For healthcare, for our climate, for scientists, for journalism, for justice, for free speech. It was a terrible night for poor people, for the middle class, for seniors who rely on Social Security, for our allies in Ukraine, for NATO, for the truth, and democracy, and decency.

It was a terrible night for everyone who voted against him and guess what? It was a bad night for everyon.
