The airline is offering frequent flyers of the largest airlines in the country the opportunity to match their existing elite status with the upper echelons of JetBlue's own loyalty program for free. How to win? The JetBlue TrueBlue loyalty program has four tiers, which is called Mosaic status.

The current offering is open to frequent flyers of four US airline programs: Alaska Airlines ( Mileage Plan ), American Airlines ( AAdvantage ), Delta Air Lines ( SkyMiles ), and United Airlines ( MileagePlus ). JetBlue has overhauled its program to include four tiers within its Mosaic status. As a brief overview, Mosaic 1, the lowest elite status of the program, comes with the following benefits: First Two Checked Bags Free Free Inflight Beer, Wine & Liquor (ages 21+.

How to maximize the benefits Once approved, participants will receive all Signature Perks associated with their matched Mosaic status level and one pre-selected perk during the three months of Match to Mosaic. The pre-selected perks for the current status match are priority access to your favorite Mint Suite and the pet fee waiver. JetBlue does not offer the alliance-wide benefits of other airlines, but has some good value for regular passengers.

To maintain or increase their status, customers must earn Tiles, JetBlue's version of loyalty points, to track progress toward Mosaic status while also unlocking additional perks along the way. One tile is awarded for every $100 in qualifying purchases on JetBlue, JetBlue Vacations, Paisly by JetBlue, and JetBlue extras. Anyone who holds a JetBlue credit card can also earn one tile for every $1,000 in eligible spending.
