Friday, August 23, 2024 Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have announced exciting plans for Winter 2025/26, launching their most extensive Winter City Break programme to date, which includes a brand-new route from Manchester to Porto. In response to increasing demand for city breaks that offer rich cultural experiences, historical landmarks, and delicious cuisine, the expanded programme will feature nearly 700,000 seats available to popular city destinations across Europe.

This ambitious initiative marks the companies’ largest Winter City Break offering yet. One of the highlights of the new schedule is the introduction of the Manchester to Porto route, set to operate twice weekly during November, with services resuming mid-February to coincide with the February half-term. Porto, recognized as Europe’s Leading City Break Destination in 2023 at the World Travel Awards, is known for its vibrant history, picturesque setting along the Douro River, UNESCO-listed architecture, and famed wine tours.
