Wednesday, October 2, 2024 Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks celebrated the launch of their first Winter 2024/25 flights to Iceland today (Wednesday, October 2nd), kicking off their largest-ever schedule to the breathtaking destination. The season’s inaugural flights departed from Leeds Bradford and Newcastle International Airports, taking travelers to this sought-after bucket-list location.

Tomorrow (Thursday, October 3rd), the popular leisure airline and the UK’s largest provider of European city breaks will also commence their first winter flights from Birmingham and Manchester Airports. Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks’ Winter 2024/25 Iceland programme is their most extensive yet, featuring an extended season from Birmingham and Manchester Airports, with flights available in both December and from late January for the first time.



This expansion responds to strong demand from both customers and travel agents, offering even more options and flexibility for exploring this magnificent Nordic destination. In addition to the scheduled services beginning this week from Birmingham, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, and Newcastle International Airports, the airline will also operate flights to Iceland from Bristol, Glasgow, East Midlands, and London Stansted during Winter 2024/25. Moreover, exclusive trips will be offered from Belfast International and Edinburgh Airports.

With over 30,000 seats available, representing a 13% increase in capacity compared to last winter, this expanded programm.
