The proud parents shared group photos of the family, smiling ear-to-ear with their arms wrapped around their youngest. Sascha Seinfeld was also on the trip. The comedian, who also serves as the co-chair of the Duke Parents Committee, reminded graduates to never give up and to keep trying despite the outcomes or failures.
He also received an honorary degree from the university, but a small group of pro-Palestinian protesters briefly interrupted the event, chanting “Free Palestine.” Taking to social media at the time, Jessica Seinfeld praised the speech and described the atmosphere and the crowd’s reaction to the protesters. “Despite their efforts, it had no impact on the ceremony.
