The 64 year old former Top Gear star has been at the helm of the show for four seasons, documenting his often humorous struggles with farming life on his land in Oxfordshire. The show has brought considerable fame to his Diddly Squat farm shop, drawing crowds to Chadlington, near Chipping Norton, as fans flock to the countryside spot.

Since the show's debut in 2021, Clarkson has expanded his ventures, launching Hawkstone Brewery and opening a pub in Asthall, near Burford, named The Farmer’s Dog. In a dazzling Prime Video teaser featuring the number five spelled out in fireworks on Tuesday 5 November, Jeremy said: "Over the years, bright lights in the sky have been used to make many important announcements, the birth of the baby Jesus, for example." He then cheekily added, "But tonight, they’re being used to make an announcement that’s even bigger than that.

Season Five of Clarkson’s farm is coming." Season four of the show is not expected until next year, and the most recent series covered Jeremy’s battles with the local council, the impact of the 2022 drought, and his assistant Kaleb Cooper and land agent Charlie Ireland meeting .
