The Boss is performing at Wembley Stadium tonight (July 27) Jeremy Allen White has apparently been texting Bruce Springsteen in the hopes of meeting him in London to prepare for his upcoming role. The Bear star was announced as part of the film in April after Deadline reported that White was the favourite to play a young Springsteen in the film which was announced this January . The film is reportedly set to explore the making of Springsteen’s classic album ‘Nebraska’.

Scott Cooper (C razy Heart, Hostiles ) will write and direct the film, which is based on Warren Zane’s 2023 book, Deliver Me from Nowhere: The Making of Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska. Now, to prepare for his role, White has revealed to Variety that he has “texted and emailed” Springsteen in the run up to his Saturday (July 27) show at Wembley . “I’m really excited to see him perform,” White said, cheekily adding that Springsteen texts “like a boss”.
