JEOPARDY! fans have been left frustrated with host Ken Jennings after a partial answer was accepted during Final Jeopardy. In the closing moments of Monday's game , contestants Neilesh Vinjamuri, Monica Anderson, and Sean Duffie took a shot at a challenging clue. As the Final Jeopardy round began, host Ken Jennings delivered the following clue.

"'Love' is within the titles of 3 of his most famous books; A fourth, 'The Rainbow', calls love 'the flower of life'," it read. Monica and Sean failed to correctly answer the clue, and while some viewers felt Neilesh's answer came up short Ken, 50, counted it as correct. The Jeopardy! champ, who went into the round with an impressive $26,100, wrote, "Who Lawrence," leaving out "is.

After the episode aired, Jeopardy! fans flocked to Reddit to share their thoughts on the game show with some not so sure Neilesh's answer should have counted. "Have they always been allowed to exclude a verb when answering in the form of a question?" wondered one fan on the thread.

"In final? IIRC in the wagering process they tell the contestants to pre-write who to what. There was one contestant a long time ago who got penalized on FJ for phrasing (Not sure if they were the only). They don't specify singular or plural," a second fan answered.

ON A ROLL Neilesh has been racking up victories on Jeopardy! for several days now. On Monday, he won his second game, dominating the competition. By the end of round one, Neilesh was leading with $9,000 after correctly guessing the Daily Double.

Monica snuck into second with $7,600, with Sean behind her in third with $5,200. Neilesh's two-day total comes out to $41,100. GOOD GAME On Reddit , fans chatted about the details of the game, with Sean fielding questions from viewers.

In response to a fan asking about Neilesh, Sean had nothing but kind words for his competitor . "Neil was outstanding. He was super kind and a great competitor," he said.

Other commenters also praised Neilesh, gushing about how excited they were to see him win again. "Neilesh's depth and breadth of knowledge is pretty impressive. Congrats!" one fan posted.
