Jennie Garth is being open about the difficulties associated with menopause. On Tuesday, August 6, the 52-year-old Beverly Hills, 90210 alumna posted a video of her gym routine on . Garth mentioned that although she seems to be adjusting to her schedule easily, she has been “struggling” with “body pain” and the “daily minefield, both physically & mentally” that comes with growing older.

She captioned the photo, saying, “This is the deal.” “ I’m sure that doing it will make me feel better forever. However, lately, I sometimes feel like my body is rebelling against me.

I tend to forget that a lot is going on inside of me, creating a lot of changes, and that I won’t always feel or act the way I’d like to (or expect to). “I need to remind myself to be kind to myself sometimes! She continued, asking followers to “Tell me, how do you find working out challenging as we age & as we deal with these human changes?” “I’m doing the best i can & that makes me feel a little better,” she said. “For always pushing me just enough & for your patience & understating of my beautiful, hardworking body,” she also complimented her trainer, Jason AliveFitness.

Additionally, Garth recently made time to speak with Dr. Mary Claire Haver, a menopausal specialist, for her , which aired on August 6. The two talked about common menopausal issues that women had to deal with, like joint discomfort, sleeplessness at night, cognitive decline, and the “negative connotation” associated with menopause.

“As women, we shouldn’t be ashamed to talk about menopause—it’s something that half of the population will experience. I’m just really happy to be a part of the conversation and to use my platform to destigmatize this,” Garth said near the close of the episode. Apart from facing difficulties with her menopausal transition, Garth has expressed that she is “absolutely” still in mourning for her friend and former co-star Shannen Doherty, who passed away in July at the age of 53 after a protracted fight with illness.

The 52-year-old Garth said, on Friday, July 26 on the Today Show. “We all know that Shannen has battled cancer for a long time, so I was shocked, but there was something about her, I’m not sure what it was. She was such a pro and a warrior.

For some reason, I just didn’t think that would occur. You can visit our website, , to learn more about your favorite celebrities and movies..
