Actress Jenna Ortega , who recently was in involved in an ex-rated scene with Martin Freeman , has shared her concerns about artificial intelligence (AI) and social media safety during a recent episode of The New York Times' The Interview podcast, just days after fans were shocked that the actress made out with her friend Sabrina Carpenter during a music video . Ortega recounted seeing fake, sexually explicit images of herself as a minor online , following Jenna Ortega's breakout role in Bettle Juice 2 . "I hate AI," she stated.

"Did I like being 14 [years old] and making a Twitter account because I was supposed to, and seeing dirty edited content of me as a child? No. It's terrifying. It's corrupt.

Ortega acknowledged AI's positive applications, such as early breast cancer detection, but cautioned: "I would like [AI] to be used with good intent, but we could say that about anything and everything." The actress also revealed disturbing experiences on social media, including receiving "an unsolicited photo of a man's genitals" at age 12.

She explained her decision to delete some social media accounts: "I ended up deleting [some of her social media accounts] about two, three years ago because the influx, after [Wednesday] had come out, of these absurd images and photos." DON'T MISS..

Last year, during Variety's Actors on Actors series, Ortega became emotional discussing the challenges of authentic self-representation on social media.

She expressed concern about people taking advantage of vulnerability, stating: "The more I've been exposed to the world, people prey on that and take advantage of that.".
