Jana Partners Management took fresh stakes in Rapid7 ( NASDAQ: RPD ), with about 2.7M shares, Blackline ( NASDAQ: BL ) with 1.15M shares and Fortrea ( FTRE ) with 690K shares, according to the hedge fund's latest 13F filing released Wednesday.

The activist fund sold out of Freshpet ( NASDAQ: FRPT ) and reduced its positions in QuidelOrtho ( QDEL ), Frontier Communication ( FYBR ) and Fidelity National Information Services ( FIS ). The hedge fund added to its stake in Wolfspeed ( WOLF ) and Trimble ( TRMB ). Cybersecurity firm Rapid7 ( RPD ) gained 7% on June 26 after a WSJ report that Jana had accumulated a stake and planned to push for a sale .



Jana managing partner Scott Ostfeld disclosed the stake at the Sohn Monaco Investment Conference. Rapid7 ( RPD ) rose 1.7% on Wednesday.
