New Delhi, – In a groundbreaking move to enhance rail connectivity and passenger comfort in Jammu & Kashmir, the Railway Board has introduced a specially designed Vande Bharat Express train. Tailored to operate seamlessly through the region’s harsh winter conditions, this new addition to the fleet will run on the Katra-Srinagar route.
Stationed at the Shakurbasti coaching depot in New Delhi, the train is equipped with cutting-edge technology to withstand extreme weather.
