James Jordan appeared to mock a 10-year-old complaint against wife Ola Jordan as Strictly is embroiled in controversy, with allegations continuing to surface . A number of Strictly professionals have been hit with claims of alleged bad behaviour following a probe by the BBC . Following Amanda Abbington's complaints against dancer Giovanni Pernice, who has since left the show, an investigation was launched into the conduct of other professionals on the show.

Sherlock actress Amanda accused Giovanni of being "abusive, cruel and mean" during training before she pulled out of the show. Giovanni strenuously denies all claims made against him and has vowed to clear his name. Graziano Di Prima has since been axed as a result of the BBC probe after it emerged he kicked celebrity partner Zara McDermott in rehearsals, which he has admitted to and apologised for.

And complaints made by former Strictly contestant Steve Backshall have since resurfaced 10 years after he lodged a complaint against James' wife Ola . In 2014, he had reportedly refused to be left alone with her after they were partnered together on the show. Steve had reportedly labelled her "cold and rude", prompting the BBC to assign the pair a chaperone during their rehearsals.

On Monday, James retweeted a tweet appearing to reference Steve's complaint, which read: "@The_OlaJordan stands 5’4” tall and weighs the same as a Pringle packet she can reduce hardened explorers to tears. She’s the dance floor assassin @bbcstrictly and we need a fund me page for poor @The_JamesJordan who must live in terror daily." Appearing to mock the comments made about Ola, he wrote: "Please help me!!!" Last week, the Mirror revealed that judge Anton Du Beke was the latest Strictly star to be dragged into a legal probe into "serious misconduct" on the show.

The TV favourite, 57, was named to lawyers Carter Ruck by former partner Laila Rouass , who he was paired with in 2009, while he was still a pro dancer. It is understood Laila's complaint to lawyers focuses on a remark made by the star, in which he commented that the star looked like "a P*ki" after a spray tan. He later apologised for the inappropriate jibe.

Laila, who has an Indian mother and Moroccan father, accepted his apology. "It was a situation which happened that we have moved on from and I accept his apology," she said. Anton said at the time: "I must say immediately and categorically that I am not a racist and that I do not use racist language.

During the course of rehearsals Laila and I have exchanged a great deal of banter entirely in jest, and two weeks ago there was an occasion when this term was used between the two of us. There was no racist intent whatsoever but I accept that it is a term which causes offence and I regret my use of it, which was done without thought or consideration of how others would react. I apologise unreservedly for any offence my actions might have caused.
