Sunday, October 6, 2024 The Jambi provincial government is dedicated to ensuring that the development of the Lake Sipin tourism destination in Jambi City, backed by investment from South Korea, adheres to all relevant regulations. In an official statement released on Saturday, Acting Governor Sudirman affirmed that the provincial government will continue to seek collaboration with the Korean company to ensure compliance with applicable laws. He emphasized the necessity for specialized discussions regarding the project to facilitate smooth cooperation.

Sudirman highlighted the importance of maintaining cleanliness at Lake Sipin, which is poised to become a major water tourism destination. The provincial government has also involved the local community in discussions about the regulations related to the development, ensuring that their voices are heard in the process. Johannes, a representative of Hanha, the company involved in the Lake Sipin project, stated that the collaboration aims to clean, restore, and develop Lake Sipin in phases, supporting both economic development and environmental preservation in Jambi.
