STARING at the spreadsheet on the laptop screen in front of her, Emmerald Barwise scanned the sea of numbers and dates in front of her. This meticulously compiled colour-coded data set had taken her hundreds of hours to build - and was - she believed - the key to achieving her lifelong dream. But this wasn’t a monthly budget or stock market plan - it was a critical tool Emmerald, 34, originally from Manchester but who now lives in Wrexham, spent years compiling in a bid to achieve her dream of bagging a famous man - and having his baby.
