ITV viewers issued an urgent plea to Martin Lewis as he returned to screens with a new series of The Martin Lewis Money Show. The Good Morning Britain presenter, 52, helped shed some light on the public's personal finances less than 24 hours before Chancellor Rachel Reeves delivers her first Autumn Budget since Labour's victory in the general election. During Tuesday's (October 29) live show, Martin was joined by retired sprinter Jeanette Kwakye as they discussed everything from energy bills, winter fuel payments, standing charges and smart metres.

With the show only on for one hour, Martin moved at an abrupt pace to ensure he could address all the current issues. However, several viewers found the influx of information difficult to take in in such a short space of time and begged the money saving expert to slow down. Sharing their thoughts on social media, one wrote: "You need to be a mathematician to understand these energy rates.

Simplifying it would be a good start." A second penned: "Martin’s show needs to be longer. There’s so much information, he has to go so fast it’s hard to keep up.

" Another begged: "Martin, please don’t talk so fast we try to take it all in, why do you have to pack so much in the show? My Wife and I were trying to understand the energy price cap etc but you moved too quick." A fourth pleaded: "Please hold the cameras still, stop constantly flicking between different angles when Martin is explaining & showing graphics. My head is hurting.
