This Morning took an emotional turn on Monday (September 9) as presenters Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard ditched the famous ITV studio to highlight a heartbreaking message. Presenters Cat and Ben hosted the daytime programme from Westfield shopping centre in West London which has been taken over by an eye-catching display of birthday balloons. But the colourful portrayal was to raise awareness of the rising levels of young suicide.

Launched by mental health charity, C.A.L.



M, 6,929 birthday balloons floated through the air as it represented the number of young lives lost to suicide across the UK in the last decade. Each balloon also had a number on it which represented how old the young person would have been at their next birthday. Read more: DVSA issues urgent warning Sharing her thoughts on the display, Cat admitted: "It is incredibly beautiful at the same time.

It's not until you actually look at the numbers on the balloons, that you actually realise how young some of these people were.".
