Loose Women viewers were quick to highlight a perceived snub from Ruth Langsford to Eamonn Holmes during Tuesday’s show. In the episode, the panel were speaking about friendship bracelets and special gifts they’ve received from loved ones. Sharing her thoughts, Ruth Langsford said: “I think any gift from a friend is a special gift, anything that a friend gives you.

When someone says friendship bracelet I don’t think of a beautiful silver bracelet, I think of a bit of cotton that a kid has made for you. I don’t have grandchildren, I hope I will one day, but I can imagine that. If a grandchild or something has made me something I would feel the need to wear it.

” However, people watching were quick to notice that Ruth has step-grandchildren with her husband Eamonn Holmes. One person said “#Loosewomen I thought you had a granddaughter Ruth.” Responding, someone commented: “They’re Eamonn’s grandkids.

I bet she doesn’t see them now.” Someone else tweeted: “In the 14 years Eamon and Ruth were together, Her stepson Declan had two children. She would have known them.

.. Her step-grandchildren.

Now, she says she has no grandchildren. Ouch.” “Exactly, I thought that was a bit disrespectful of her to say that,” quipped another.

While one viewer highlighted: “Ruth saying she doesn't have grandchildren when she has step-grandkids on Eamonn's side, I thought that was a bit mean.” Earlier this year, Eamonn and Ruth announced they had decided to separate after being married for 14 years. The pair met back in 1997 and married in 2010 and share one child together called Jack.

Although Eamonn has three other children from his previous relationships, who have given him two grandchildren. Ruth hasn’t addressed their break-up as of yet, however, Eamonn briefly mentioned it while hosting GB News alongside Isabel Webster. At the time, he said: “Just before we move on we'd just like to thank people for your support for Ruth and I over the last few days as to the news of our separation.

Your support for both of us is very much appreciated." Ruth took some time away from the Loose Women panel during the past few weeks and returned to the ITV show on Monday. Thrilled with her comeback, Coleen Nolan interrupted the conversation as she said: “Wait, wait, wait, before you carry on, can I just say I am so so happy you're back.

" Loose Women continues weekdays on ITV from 12:30pm..
