Presenter Melvin Odoom has eyed up a former I'm A Celebrity campmate as he spilled on his love life. The BBC Radio 1 star is taking part in this year's series of the hit ITV show and has discussed his love life. He revealed his surprise celebrity crush to his fellow campmates after receiving his luxury item.
Melvin chose to have a pillow with Carol Vorderman on it to help him through his I'm A Celebrity journey. On Wednesday's episode, Melvin revealed he recently bumped into former Countdown host Carol but was too scared to speak to her. Speaking of the Pride of Britain Awards that took last month, Melvin admitted: "I was too shy to say hello that day.
" N-Dbuz singer Tulisa told him: "Melvin, a strong woman like that is gonna appreciate you going: 'I just wanna say I think you're a sensational woman and I'd love to take you out for a drink and get to know you if you'd be happy to oblige me.’" She then suggested they act out how Melvin could approach Carol, with Tulisa pretending to be the TV star. He asked: "Hello Carol, great work on Pride of Britain.
Are you free on Saturday?" However, Melvin received harsh words from his campmates as they agreed he was trying too hard. Melvin attempted again as he said: "You look sensational today, you're actually glowing, has anyone ever said that? Listen, I've booked a restaurant for next week, it's gonna be Thai food all expenses paid, I'm gonna send the cab to your house for about 8pm, I'll see you there." An impressed Tulisa jumped .
