IRELAND AM star Eric Roberts has said "it's just mental" after a landing his "dream come true" gig with Liverpool FC. The Donegal native, who often appears on the hit morning show, recently announced that he's expecting his first child with his wife Niamh. Eric has become the new face of Liverpool FC's premium collection FIRMA.
FIRMA is a blend of luxury, style and the club's iconic heritage. The collection is luxury sports apparel, offering a fresh way to represent LFC. Taking to Instagram yesterday to make the announcement, Eric documented his chaotic day as a model for his followers.
He started his video with an emotional voice over set to small clips of his journey to Liverpool . Eric said: "I can't believe I'm saying this, but I am the new face of Liverpool football club's FIRMA collection. "I still haven't quite got my head round this, I mean it's a dream come true to be working with a club that I have supported all my life.
" The Tiktoker then showed how the team got him model ready, as he had make-up artists, hair stylists and a wardrobe team working on his look. Eric was floored when he entered the studio and found out he'd be taking the photos in the same studios they shoot the players in. Posing for the camera's, Eric looked happy as ever, saying he struggled to keep a "straight model face" for the photographers as he beamed with excitement.
He went on to explain that this was not only a big moment for him, but also for his dad. Eric said when he was younger her tol.
