A MORRISONS customer has sparked a fierce debate after discovering a whole aisle filled with Christmas treats, despite it being August. Although the festive season is still months away, that hasn't stopped some retailers from already stocking their aisles with Christmas essentials . Much to the horror of one shopper, Kerri Hedley-Cheney, festive treats, including chocolate Santa, have now made an official return at Morrisons.

Horrified, Kerri took to TikTok to share the news with fellow social media users - however, the discovery left people divided, as not everyone was mad to see the festive theme in August. ''So, I'm just walking through Morrisons to get my mum a couple of bits, and I have never been left more depressed by something in my life. ''Look,'' the mortified customer said, before showing the shelves that were full to the brim with Christmas treats and sweets.

''I mean, f**k off,'' Kerri said, reminding that it was still ''four months til Christmas'' in the caption. Amongst the items she spotted in the aisle included a range of mince pies, numerous boxes of chocolate to share with your family and friends and delicious biscuits to enjoy with a warm cuppa or hot chocolate. ''In what universe is this f***ing acceptable? It's f***ing August.

'' The shopper, whose video has since taken the platform by storm, added: ''Inclined to think they should be shoving those where the sun doesn't f***ing shine.'' Kerri, who posts under the username @ kerricheney , also showed viewer.
