RTE star Joanna Donnelly has said she's an "emotional wreck" after her first week on Dancing With The Stars. The glamorous RTE show returned on air for the first episode of its eighth season last Sunday, January 5. Joanna played up to her day job by dancing to The Weather Girls' song It's Raining Men with her dance partner, Maciej Zieba.
Unfortunately the Met Eireann's cha cha cha was mixed and she received the lowest score of 15 points. Judge Arthur Gourounlian said: "I was hoping you would channel the storming weather but for me it was a bit of a dry spell." Brian Redmond added: "It might be raining men but I won't be raining tens anytime soon.
A Cha Cha needs commitment and you need to give it more energy." The 54-year-old took to Instagram yesterday to share her high emotions after the big night. Joanna wrote: "I’m posting this one and only social media post then I’m turning my phone off for the day because it’s all just TOO MUCH.
"I’m a physical and emotional wreck. I clearly took on way too much trying to work through and didn’t get enough rest. "I absolutely loved the experience and when the show kicked off the party atmosphere was electric.
