Keith Urban has spoken out about his eldest daughter Sunday Rose Kidman Urban’s modelling career following her first catwalk show in Paris. Sunday Rose, 16, made her professional modelling debut last week walking in the prestigious Miu Miu show at Paris Fashion Week. Miu Miu is the secondary line from legendary Italian designer Miuccia Prada and the model was given the coveted “opening look” from the collection.
With her hair parted in the middle and a serious expression, Sunday Rose donned a white cotton-poplin dress, paired with grey socks and open-toe heels . "I've been wanting to do this for so long and so when the offer came through, it was really exciting," she told Vogue after the show. "And now the day is finally here!" Sunday Rose’s mum Nicole, 57, did not attend the Miu Miu presentation but later attended an afterparty to toast her daughter’s new career.
Joining Sunday Rose on the runway were actors Hilary Swank and Nicole’s The Northman co-star Willem Dafoe as well as rapper Little Simz, singer-songwriter Eliot Sumner (child of musician Sting and actress Trudie Styler), and model Amelia Grey Hamlin. The aspiring model is the eldest daughter of Urban and Kidman and has one sister, Faith Margaret, 14. Sunday Rose also has two elder half siblings, Bella and Connor, from Nicole’s first marriage to Tom Cruise.
Meanwhile, Urban, 56, was asked about Sunday Rose’s new career in an interview with People magazine and admitted it was “a challenge” raising .
