Sunday, September 15, 2024 The Italian Film Festival lights up Heraklion from September 16, offering a week of cinematic brilliance, proudly supported by the Region of Crete. The Italian Film Festival, backed by the Region of Crete, is set to kick off on Monday, September 16th, 2024, at the Municipal Summer Cinema Bethleem in Heraklion. This cinematic event is organized by the Italian Embassy in Greece, in partnership with the Italian Cultural Institute of Athens, the Honourary Italian Consulate in Heraklion, and other esteemed collaborators, including the Region of Crete.

Diverse Film Lineup Running daily through Sunday, September 22nd, 2024, the festival brings a new cinematic experience to audiences each day, highlighting the best of modern Italian filmmaking. Admission is free, with films presented in their original Italian language, accompanied by Greek subtitles. Each screening has garnered praise from critics and audiences alike.

Audiences will also have the chance to participate in a Q&A session with director Claudio Rossi Massimi after the screenings.
