Stars and supporting cast gathered in New York City for the premiere of Sony’s It Ends With Us starring Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni, Brandon Sklenar, Jenny Slate and more on Tuesday, August 6. Based on the best-selling novel by Colleen Hoover, the film tells the story of Lily Bloom (Lively) as she falls in love with Ryle (Baldoni) before she reconnects with her high school first love Atlas Corrigan (Sklenar). Lily ultimately faces the challenging decision of staying with or leaving Ryle, who turns out to be violent and volatile.
Lively executive produced the film, and Baldoni directed in addition to starring, with a script by Christy Hall. Alex Neustadter and Isabela Ferer portray younger versions of Lily and Atlas, respectively. The film also features Jenny Slate in the role of Ryle’s sister Alyssa and Hasan Minhaj as Alyssa’s husband Marshall.
Author and executive Colleen Hoover attended, as did Christy Hall, who helped pen the script. Of course, Lively’s ever supportive husband Ryan Reynolds attended with Hugh Jackman in tow, just as Lively supported their Deadpool & Wolverine bromance a few weeks ago.
