“It Ends With Us” has officially hit theaters. Fans of Colleen Hoover’s 2016 novel, which has sold millions of copies, and newcomers alike took to social media to share their thoughts on the adaptation. The movie features Blake Lively as Lily Bloom starring opposite , who also directs.

Lively plays a woman caught in a cycle of violence. After growing up watching her father abuse her mother, Lily enters into a relationship with Ryle, a neurosurgeon who becomes violent. Her chance reunion with childhood friend and first love Atlas Corrigan, played by Brandon Sklenar, puts things into perspective.



“It Ends With Us,” out Friday, Aug. 9, has garnered $7 million at the box office from Thursday’s previews, per . The film is expected to earn between $25 million and $35 million, with some predictions placing its earning between $40 million and $50 million.
