Australian actor Isla Fisher is preparing to hand over the keys to her only Australian property – a Sydney apartment she bought at 19. Fisher’s apartment at 12/96 Wallis Street, Woollahra , sold on October 22 for an undisclosed sum. It was booked for an auction but a tactical change ensued and the two-bedroom pad, in an art deco block, remained on the market for private negotiation.
The listed price guide was updated to $990,000 before the deal being inked. The agents in charge were Maria Ciancio and Michael Minogue from KJ Agency. Nine has appoached them for comment.
Fisher, a Home & Away darling who became a global household name after her breakout Hollywood role in Wedding Crashers , bought the neat apartment in 1995 for $171,500, at the height of her soapie stardom, The Sydney Morning Herald reported this year.
