Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise was kickstarted by AKshay Kumar , but it was Kartik Aaryan who took the franchise forward and minted over Rs 265 crore with the second installment. With the success of the second part, it was a done deal that the third part would also be made, and stakes are extremely high for the latest installment. And, the makers have pulled a casting coup for this, starting with Kartik Aaryan, then the OG Manjulikka Vidya Balan came on board along with Madhuri Dixit-Nene.

About a week ago, Kartik Aaryan took to social media to share that the film has been wrapped up and is raring to release on Diwali this year. With this, buzz also began to do the rounds, that the teaser of the film will be released on 15th of August.
As per reports, it was stated that the makers of the film has cracked a deal with cinema owners across the country, to screen the 1.32 minute teaser, with all the new releases like Stree 2 , Vedaa and Khel Khel Mein. But it seems like the decision to screen the latest teaser has been delayed.
A source mentioned that currently the buzz is extremely strong for Stree 2 and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 , also belongs to the same genre. Given the strong opening Stree 2 is expected to get, BB3 might not get the desired reach, hence the teaser has been delayed. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will be clashing with Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer Singham Again on November 1, directed by Rohit Shetty .
