A young Irish tourist is recovering after a teenager allegedly sexually assaulted her then ripped an €8,000 Rolex from her wrist. The accused, who is just 18, has already admitted stealing the watch from the victim who was holidaying in northern Italy but denies sexually assaulting the woman. He claims he stole the Rolex because he has an addiction to the luxury watch brand and even has one tattooed on his wrist.

The woman was attacked while holidaying in northern Italy in recent days. The victim, who is 26, was targeted in the resort of Milano Maritima, 25kms south of Ravenna on the east coast on Wednesday of last week.
